Our Health Insurance Blog Knows That You Want Healthcare reform…

It is very much common knowledge that the right wing of the United States does not want health care reform. The left side of the fence very much disagrees with this philosophy.  They think that no citizen would buy expensive private insurance–or vote for politicians who wanted to take public insurance away.  Is that the case?  We want consumers to let us know how they feel.  What if you had to pay a reasonable premium for your health care, and it was guaranteed you can get it?  Would that solve the problem?  Or would people out there still want something for nothing?

Barack Obama and his team are sending clear signals that health insurance reform is one of the first economic issues they are going to battle with, and the health insurance industry is becoming increasingly anxious by the future administration’s determination to bring healthcare costs under control. Many residents in the U.S. are seeing their health insurance premiums rising at four times the rate of inflation (21%), if  Healthcare reform is a pocketbook issue for all of us, according to the Obama team, how do we fix that problem?

Most will agree that something needs to be done and quicly.   Let’s briefly review the options that have been proposed thus far. Barak Obama wants to provide health insurance  for all by requiring private insurance companies to cover everyone and creating a public health insurance plan to compete with private insurers.  Will that work?  Is it worth a shot to try?  How much will it cost the American tax payer?  Let us know what you think today!
