Health Insurance for Illegal immigrants

President Obama implied this week that he is not opposed to allowing illegal immigrants to continue receiving the basic health care benefits even though he is not planning on insuring them under the proposed health insurance reform proposals. This has caused some disconcert amongst Americans because they blame illegal immigrants for already manipulating the system by receiving free emergency room care in which taxpayers are forced to pay the bill. The President stated that he will not attempt to provide illegal immigrants with health insurance however; he does believe that emergency rooms should still be required to treat them. What do you think, should illegal immigrants be treated the same without health insurance?
