President Obama’s economic advisers say that middle class taxes will increase in order to cut budget deficits or to pay for the proposed reform of the nation’s health care system and health insurance. The discussions between Treasury Geithner and National Economic Council Director Summers brought great news for the American economy. According to them the worst recession since World War II that American is in the midst of could be approaching an end. With this said officials seemed willing to extend unemployment benefits. Both Summers and Geithner avoided questions on President Obama’s intensions about taxes. Do you think that middle class taxes should increase to help pay for the health care reform?
